Our History
Floor Depot was established in 2001 in Malaysia. The first showroom was situated in Puchong, Selangor with a total number of two salespersons and one storekeeper. It started with a single type of wood flooring called Laminated Floorboard imported from Germany.
When Floor Depot first entered the market, it faced strong competition from the traditional supply chain in the market in terms of pricing and distribution channel. As the management foresaw the market demands in retailing and end-user market for reliable and easy access channels, the investment in A&P was then concentrated on trade brand building.
